Huawei’s megawatt-level supercharging technology is entering heavy trucks through OEM partnerships: Beiben’s new V5 series offers Huawei megawatt charging at 3.5C rate on selected models — a claimed 15-minute charge for most of the pack — plus an ‘interconnected charging’ variant, making Beiben the first Chinese truck maker to ship both options per its launch statements.

Huawei’s role here is platform supplier, not truck maker: its liquid-cooled megawatt charging architecture (already deployed in Chinese passenger-EV supercharging networks) is being packaged for commercial vehicles across multiple brands — the same component-supplier position Bosch or ZF holds in Europe. If the architecture becomes the de facto Chinese standard for truck megawatt charging, it also becomes a candidate export standard as Chinese trucks go abroad.
