Measured, not claimed — and how your fleet joins
WattTonne does not publish unverified performance claims. Field Tests is our method: an open, repeatable protocol for measuring winter range, payload penalty and charging curves on real routes — and a standing invitation for fleet operators to run it with us.
What we measure
- Winter range — kWh/100 km at −10 °C to 0 °C, on loaded, timed routes.
- Payload penalty — tare weight vs. the diesel equivalent, in kilograms.
- Charging curve — actual MCS/CCS kW delivered, 10–80%, on public hardware.
- Uptime & availability — days out of service over a defined window.
Our method, in the open
Every test publishes: route, weather, load factor, ambient temperature, tyre and battery state, and the raw telemetry the result is drawn from. No anonymised “up to” figures. A result appears on the Evidence Files only when the fleet operator and the route data are verifiable — otherwise it is not published at all.
