Milence’s MILES project (Mobility Infrastructure for Logistics – Electric & Sustainable) entered delivery in 2026: 284 MCS charging stations across 71 locations in ten EU member states — Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and Sweden — to be completed by 2027. It is the largest single megawatt-charging deployment plan in Europe, layered on top of the alliance’s equity-funded hub build (34 hubs in May 2026, 90 targeted by 2028).

MILES matters because it converts MCS from showcase sites (Antwerp, Zwolle, Landvetter) into a planned network: 71 locations at corridor spacing is the beginning of break-compatible long-haul coverage on the TEN-T core. The project is also the template for how EU co-funding de-risks alliance capital — public money covering the utilisation gap of early megawatt points while vehicle volumes ramp.

For long-haul planners: the MILES location list is the map to track through 2027. Fleets whose trunk routes intersect it can now write 2027–28 electrification plans with named infrastructure; those outside it should lobby for the next phase or evaluate the swap/BaaS alternatives our corridor case studies cover.
