Shacman’s March update paired two facts that belong in one story: its new-energy heavy-truck sales reached 2,262 units in January–February 2026, up 64% year-on-year, and its X6000 platform 4×2 tractor obtained EU WVTA certification — the homologation document that separates Chinese truck makers with European ambitions from those with European businesses.

The NEV build is broad-based: pure electric, hydrogen fuel cell, LNG and plug-in hybrid lines across mining, port, construction and trunk logistics, with the Deyu Q500 LNG tractor as the gas-economy flagship and the Zhihui/Zhiyuan/Zhihuan NEV series covering reduced-consumption, fast-charge and extended-range segments. The group’s 2026 targets include 40,000 NEV sales (from 25,000 in 2025, +260% that year) and 100,000 civilian heavy trucks overall.

The WVTA point deserves emphasis: X6000’s approval makes Shacman one of the few Chinese makers (with SANY’s e263 and Hongyan’s H6) holding the legal key to EU registrations — and its Q1 export data (Shaanxi KD assembly orders are part of the Russia-bound 28% export share) shows the assembly-localisation model it could replicate.
