Five things that mattered

Milence repriced the network. From 1 January the alliance moved to market-based country tariffs — €0.379/kWh Belgium, €0.339 France — replacing the flat €0.399. Corridor TCO models should be re-run with the new benchmark.

Kaufland × Milence created the retail-depot template. The first food retailer with a dedicated hub at its Barsinghausen DC: four 400 kW bays, nine e-trucks, ~700 t CO₂e/yr. Depot and public charging became one system.

AanZET opened its 2026 round. €78 million, up to €115,200 per zero-emission truck, first-come — with a second window later fixed for 29 September.

What to watch next month

Germany’s toll-exemption fate — the 2025 expiry still unresolved, the industry holding its breath; resolved in December, but the anxiety was the lesson.
