1. Controller

2. Data we collect and why

• Newsletter subscription (email address; optionally name and country): to send The WattTonne Weekly and policy alerts. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), collected via double opt-in. You may withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
• TCO report registration (name, work email, phone, company, role, fleet size): to deliver your PDF report and, with your consent, related follow-up. Legal basis: performance of a requested service (Art. 6(1)(b)) and consent for marketing contact.
• Advertising and press enquiries (business contact details): to respond to your request. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited, timestamp): for security and abuse prevention by our hosting provider. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels or behavioural analytics on this site (see our Cookie Policy).

3. Processors and transfers

We use the following processors under data-processing agreements: Hostinger International Ltd (hosting, EU); Brevo / Sendinblue SAS (newsletter delivery, EU servers); and, where applicable, Google Ireland Ltd only if analytics are enabled in future (you will be informed here first). No data is sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing. Transfers outside the EU/EEA occur only under adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. Retention

Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe (and deleted within 30 days thereafter). TCO registration data is kept for up to 24 months for report follow-up, then deleted. Server logs are rotated per our host’s standard schedule.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your country of residence or with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (www.aki.ee).

6. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be announced on this page with a new effective date.
