Beijing, 7 August 2026 — CV World’s preliminary figures put China’s January–July heavy-truck sales at 753,000 units, up 21% year-on-year, with July at 92,000 (+8.4% YoY, seasonally down from June’s record). The data service names three drivers: domestic trade-in (replacement incentive) policies, robust export growth, and rising new-energy penetration — the same three engines visible in the H1 data, still running.

What the summer numbers settle. Two open questions from earlier this year are now answered. First, the December-2025 penetration spike (53.9%) was front-loading, not a bubble: new-energy volumes kept growing through H1 (+67.6% Jan–May) rather than collapsing after the pull-forward. Second, exports are structural, not opportunistic: sustained ~35% growth means Chinese heavy-truck capacity is now permanently aimed at world markets, with Europe on the destination list (SANY delivering, XCMG homologating, corridor packages like Morocco–France being marketed).
