TRATON raises EUR 850m in green financing as MAN commits EUR 1.2bn to Krakow e-truck production
TRATON GROUP announced in May 2026 it secured a total of EUR 850 million through green bonds (EUR 500 million) and a green loan (EUR 350 million) to invest in battery electric trucks and buses.
In a separate move, MAN, a TRATON subsidiary, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Polish government in July 2026 pledging EUR 1.2 billion to expand its Krakow production site, including launching production of electric vehicles at the facility.
The two announcements underline the group’s capital allocation toward its electrification strategy across both vehicle development and manufacturing capacity.
