EUTRACO’s 54 electric trucks and 14.4 MW — Europe’s most instructive private fleet, profiled
Background record (2025–26): the Belgian logistics group’s 54-truck electric fleet runs on its own 14.4 MW charging installation built with Luminus — Belgium’s largest electric fleet and the depot-first model’s European proof case.

Background record: EUTRACO, the Roeselare-area logistics group, operates 54 electric trucks — Belgium’s largest electric fleet — charged from its own 14.4 MW installation built with energy partner Luminus, the country’s biggest private truck-charging site. It is the single most instructive fleet in Europe for the depot-first model.
What EUTRACO proves with operating reality rather than slideware: a mid-European logistics group (not an Amazon, not a state fleet) can electrify at fleet scale when three things align — duty cycles that return to base nightly, energy bought as an industrial input at depot tariffs, and infrastructure sized as a power plant, not a car charger. The 14.4 MW figure deserves attention: that’s grid-scale thinking applied to a fleet, the same logic as WattEV’s 11.5 MW San Bernardino site, and the reason grid applications must precede truck orders by years in congested zones.
CEO Serge Gregoir’s operation is the reference we point sceptical Benelux fleets to (Ninatrans’s public e-truck scepticism being the counter-example that needs exactly this TCO proof). Our Antwerp case study covers EUTRACO in full; the profile here is the marker for the fleet visits and measured data we plan to publish from such operations.
