The Bosch Ventures angle is the detail to remember: a German supplier’s venture fund co-founding a Chinese electric truck brand signals how the supply chain sees the market — incumbents’ technology (motors, power electronics, controls) will ride into Europe on Chinese platforms if not on European ones. Cavan joins DeepWay as the design-led Chinese startups to watch, versus the scale players (SANY, XCMG) and the ecosystem giants (BYD, CATL).

European status: no homologation announced. But Bosch’s involvement shortens the compliance path (European-grade components ease type approval) and gives the brand a service-adjacency story other startups lack.
