Shacman’s 2026 Premium Service Program: 5-year engine warranty, replace-not-repair, free NEV safety inspections
March 2026: Shaanxi Automobile’s service offensive — five-year extended warranty on key engine components, a two-year replace-only policy for internal failures, and free battery/motor/e-control safety inspections for NEV customers. China’s after-sales standards rise toward export grade.

Shacman rolled out its 2026 Premium Service Program in March: eligible vehicles get a five-year extended warranty on key engine components; internal failures within two years are handled on a ‘replace only, not repair’ basis; and new-energy customers receive a free safety inspection package covering batteries, motors and electronic controls.
Service policy is the unglamorous battleground of the truck business — and the area where Chinese entrants face the deepest European scepticism (Windrose’s collapse left ‘who answers the phone in year three?’ as the standard question). Shacman’s program signals the domestic industry raising its own floor toward what export markets demand: defined warranty periods, replacement guarantees, and NEV-specific safety coverage — the same components European buyers negotiate hardest.
For our scorecard readers: service terms like these are dimension inputs. European warranty practice (per-contract, unpublished) is being challenged from two directions — SANY’s written 8-yr/1.2M-km battery terms and now Chinese domestic service offensives. The direction of travel favours fleets: ask for everything in writing, because increasingly, it’s available in writing.
